Pasé 5 días en la hermosa ciudad-estado de Singapur. Me alegra ver como cada vez me siento más cómodo recorriendo grandes ciudades, aunque lo cierto es que conseguirlo en Singapur es fácil. Se trata de una ciudad bonita, moderna, ordenada, limpia, segura y abierta al mar, Desde el primer día me sorprendió cómo se combina su arquitectura futurista con muchas zonas verdes y el frente marino, por donde muchos locales aprovechan para realizar deporte cuando el sol no aprieta.
Una de las cosas que más llaman la atención de Singapur es lo limpia que está. Mucho más que la mayoría de ciudades europeas y a años luz de los otros países del Sudeste Asiático. Es un placer moverte por un entorno tan bien cuidado en todos los aspectos.
Además de la fotogénica zona de la bahía, dirigí mis pasos hacia el inmenso y acogedor jardín botánico y hacia dos enclaves que me encantaron: China town y Little India. En ambos me dejé llevar por sus mercados, comidas en la calle, templos y laberinto de callejuelas que mezclaban modernidad y tradición, todo ello en un entorno totalmente seguro.
Los precios de los alojamientos en Singapur, en comparación con los de sus países vecinos, no te invitan a quedarte por mucho tiempo, pero si tienes la oportunidad, es un placer perderse unos días por sus calles y múltiples actividades como museos, caminatas en la naturaleza, parques temáticos, etc.

I spent 5 days in the lovely city-state of Singapore. I am glad to see that nowadays it is easier for me to feel comfortable in a big city, although I have to admit that to have that feeling in Singapore is not difficult because it is a beautiful, modern, tidy, clean, safe and open to the sea city. From the first day I was surprised how its futuristic architecture is combined with many green areas and the sea front, where many locals take advantage to practice sports when the sun let it.
One of the things that most attracted me was how clean the city is. More than many European cities and much better than other countries of Southeast Asia. It is a pleasure to move through an environment so well taken care of in all aspects.
In addition to the photogenic area of the bay, I led my steps to the big and cozy botanical garden and to two neighborhood that I loved: China town and Little India. In both I enjoyed their markets, street meals, temples and labyrinth alleys that mixed modernity and tradition, all in a totally safe environment.
The prices of accommodation in Singapore, compared to those of its neighboring countries, do not invite you to stay for a long time, but if you have the opportunity, it is a pleasure to spend a few days through its streets and multiple activities such as museums, walks in the nature, theme parks, etc.
