(ENGLISH BELOW) En ocasiones, una escala larga entre vuelos puede deparar gratas sorpresas. En estos últimos meses he tenido la suerte de poder programar dos trayectos haciendo escalas largas en Abu Dhabi y en Dubai.
Ambas ciudades son espectaculares. Yo tuve la suerte de maravillarme primero en Abu Dhabi y repetir mi asombro como un mes después en la deslumbrante Dubai. Es bueno respetar este orden, pues Dubai eclipsa todo lo que yo he conocido.
Los trámites de Visado para entrar al país son muy rápidos, unos 30 - 45 min, y el transporte público desde el aeropuerto a la ciudad es barato y tarda sobre 1 hora.
De Abu Dhabi me llevo, sobre todo, la luminosidad de la extraordinaria Gran Mezquita. Dubai es la ciudad del lujo. Me asombró el Burj Khalifa, el edificio de cerca de un kilómetro de altura!!!! y su entorno de edificios extravagantes. Al pie del Burj Khalifa está la fuente luminosa y musical más bonita que he visto en mi vida -visitar al anochecer-.

Sometimes a long stopover between flights can have pleasant surprises. Last months I have been lucky enough to be able to schedule two long stopovers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
